"Sorrow": (noun, formal) - a cause of or a feeling of great sadness

"SORROW" is the highly anticipated follow-up to Step Below's 2022 debut EP. This double single takes the grittiest aspects of the EP and develops them, pushing the band further into the territory of its own sound.

The double single is kicked off with GRIEF, a deeply-personal tour-de-force that considers the loss of a loved one.

Following GRIEF is EXPIRED, a relentless and aggressive stick of dynamite that focuses on another form of loss: familial neglect. The lyrics stand as some of Step Below's most personal yet, but also their most stand-out.

These singles are tied together by the overarching theme of sorrow.

Biting guitars, snappy lyrics and hard breakdowns, this is Step Below.
